About Bill

Bill Danzig has been writing music since he was 9 years old. He hears an orchestra in his head and is able to transpose that music to the piano, even though he has had no formal training and cannot read music. He appears to have inherited his talent from his maternal grandfather Irving Reiss who was a concert pianist and his maternal grandmother Eva Reiss who was an opera singer.

Bill is inspired by his Bach, Irving Berlin and Andrew Lloyd Webber.

His premier album, LOVE NEVER DIES appears in full on this web site. His lyricist is his wife of 39 years, Sheila Danzig. Sheila said the music wrote the lyrics for her, all she had to do was listen carefully to Bill's songs.

Bill's current goal is to have one of his song appear on this season's American Idol.
